Two-Tone

No fall or winter wardrobe is complete without a great pair of boots. I won't fault you for buying more than one pair this season. As seen on the runways from Derek Lam to Tibi, showcased sophisticated two-tone booties. The snowstorms followed by frigid temperatures and rain showers makes us wonder, what to wear when the weather is against any form of fashion. On this occasion a fluffy jacket and two-tone leather ankle boots, felt like the only logical option. Crisp denim shirts and oversized t-shirts paired with skin tight ripped black jeans are easy layering essentials. I'll be the first to admit that getting dressed in the winter can be a bit of a headache, especially when it seems like the brick sidewalks only serve the purpose of ruining the bottoms on all your shoes.

Pointed toe boots with a subtle block heel has been one of my guilty pleasures as of late. Making your legs appear longer and leaner, any sartorial woman knows that nothing beats a pair of ankle-grazing pants, crisp button-up, paired with a pointed toe heeled boot that is nothing short of an effortless wardrobe staple. With the tendency of purchasing a variety of the same things as mentioned, the round-toe seems far too unfamiliar.
