Lessons From NYFW

Let's start off by stating the obvious, the runways offered chic new ways to bundle up come next fall. After much analysis there was a fine line between feminine and androgynous, retro and modern. It appeared that the downtown girl has matured a bit and swapped out her vibrant prints for minimal couture details. Case in point: In mostly black and white offering, Proenza Schouler kept the collection as tailored as possible combining a sporty edge with impeccable leather detailing. Meanwhile, Phillip Lim gave us biker chic, the paneled leather pants, fancy oversized sweatshirts, and masculine femininity didn't take away from the ladylike sweetness. There was a mixture of layered looks ranging from leather pants paired with oversize v-neck sweaters or quilted  bomber jackets and many outerwear pieces. While houndstooth prints on tailored trousers, menswear inspired overcoats, and blazers kept collections sporty as seen at Rag & Bone and Yigal Azrouel, both embodied this chic hard-edged season.

  2. Everything is good, even much better than what I had expected, I am sure leather jackets on cwmalls.com are made of genuine leather as it was much heavier than those jackets made of PU.
